sticky gloopy time

sticky gloopy time is a film made in response to anonymous instructions received to make an artwork, part of the project Forced collaboration.

The film was created with super 8 footage and animation techniques. It played on a small screen on a shelf amongst compost and seeds.

FC is an ongoing project ran by artist Georgia Gendall which anonymously exchanges instructions between artists to make an artwork - generating unusual collaborations and inspiring different ways of thinking and making.

Normally an online project, this time myself and 3 other artists were invited to exchange instructions anonymously to create a response in a physical exhibition which was held at Auction house, Redruth.

i received the following instructions -

                'you are in isolation.
what does your isolation look like?
show me four examples of what your
isolation looks like over a day.'
